Factory Licence and Compliance Services
We obtain and renew your factory licence and run every Factories Act obligation, from plan approval and safety registers to welfare facilities and statutory returns, so your plant stays licensed, safe and inspection-ready.
Keep your factory licensed, safe and compliant
Factories carry the heaviest compliance load of any workplace. The Factories Act, 1948 and the state factory rules regulate licensing, building plans, machinery safety, working hours, overtime, health, welfare and reporting, and they are enforced through inspections that can stop production when serious gaps are found.
Nhancesmart supports manufacturers with end-to-end factory compliance. We manage your factory licence and plan approvals, maintain the statutory registers, prepare and file returns, and check that safety and welfare provisions match your headcount and processes. Our team also handles the labour laws that run alongside the Factories Act in a plant, including contract labour, PF, ESI and minimum wages.
With Complysmart, every licence, register, return and inspection is tracked against due dates, and our AI gap analyser compares factory practice with requirements continuously, flagging drift before it becomes an inspection finding.

Factories Act and OSH Code compliance audit
Our Factories Act and OSH Code compliance audit reviews licences, safety, welfare, working hours and registers at every plant, and our new Labour Code implementation advisory plans the move from the Factories Act to the OSH Code as state rules are notified.
As industrial labour law compliance services, we also cover factory licence renewal and inspection support: renewals are tracked before they fall due, records are kept inspection-ready, and our team supports you through every visit by the factory inspectorate.
Factory compliance and the OSH Code
The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 replaces the Factories Act along with 12 other laws. It raises the threshold for a factory to 20 workers with power and 40 without power, introduces a common registration, and permits women to work at night with their consent and adequate safeguards. Manufacturers should review licences, shift patterns and safety committees as state rules come into force.
Industries we support
Our factory compliance clients include manufacturers in engineering, automotive components, paints and chemicals, building materials, consumer goods and electronics. Many run multiple plants across states, and we manage each site's licence and calendar in one system.
